Sponsorships

Each year, Apple Physical Therapy sponsors, participates, and is actively involved in a variety of community events and activities. These events all share one thing in common – they have a goal of bettering the community in which we serve. Apple is proud to be a partner in these events.

Courage Classic Bicycle Tour

Courage Classic Bicycle TourThe Courage Classic is a three day, 175 mile cycling event over three Cascade mountain passes that raises funds for Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Abuse Prevention programs. Apple Physical Therapy has one of the largest and most visible teams in the event. Recognized by our custom Apple PT jerseys, you often hear other riders in the event say, “there goes another Apple person!” Enthusiastically supported by employees, donations are raised through several company-wide fundraisers throughout the year.

Coat Drive for the Salvation Army

Each Fall Apple PT organizes a coat collection drive for individuals and families served by the Salvation Army. Our employees, patients and the general public give generously! Since 2002 Apple has collected and donated over 6,500 warm coats to those in need.

Spring Food Drive for Northwest Harvest

Apple Physical Therapy sponsors an annual food drive each May. Apple solicits donations from the public and uses its clinics as donation drop-off sites. All donated food is distributed to food banks in the Puget Sound by Northwest Harvest. An average of 2,000 pounds of food has been collected each year since 2001.

Rebuilding Together South Sound

Rebuilding Together 2010During one of the most popular events at Apple, employees volunteer to spend a Saturday in April weeding, painting, and doing minor home repairs as part of a national effort to revitalize and restore neighborhoods across the country. Apple Physical Therapy has proudly been a house sponsor for our local chapter of Rebuilding Together since 2005.

Service Clubs and Organizations

Apple actively supports community based service organizations and the charitable efforts they sponsor by participating in Kiwanis, Rotary, Soroptimists and Chambers of Commerce.

Youth Sports Team Sponsorship

Apple sponsors multiple youth athletic teams throughout the Puget Sound. The support of youth athletics is consistent with Apple’s philosophy of supporting organizations which promote the positive development of children and health.

Competitive Event Sponsorships

Apple Physical Therapy is a sponsor of many competitive events in our region, including the Capitol City Marathon, Kirkland Half-Marathon and Kent Christmas Rush 10K.

Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA)

Apple is the official athletic training provider for the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) football, basketball, gymnastics and softball tournaments. Each year physical therapists from Apple spend over 300 hours at tournaments protecting the health and safety of student athletes. Several physicians partner with Apple PT, also volunteering for the tournaments. Salvation Army Adopted

Adopted Families for Christmas Program

During the Christmas season, Apple Physical Therapy partners with the Salvation Army to adopt needy families in the community. Apple employees and our patients give generously, providing several gifts for each child, including a warm coat, new pajamas, clothing and toys. Each year the value of the donations exceed $8,000.00.

Agros International

Apple Physical Therapy has partnered with Agros to support the village of Nueva Palestina in southern Mexico.
