Your First Massage Therapy Visit & Beyond
The first visit will include an evaluation. This consists of the completion of a health history questionnaire, a manual palpation, a range of motion examination, and an interview. Treatment goals are determined at this time. A summary of the initial evaluation is sent to the referring provider.
Privacy is always respected and modestly preserved. Patients may wear a gown, undergarments or comfortable clothing that reveals on the area(s) needing treatment. Patients are draped appropriately in private rooms.
Referring providers may request work on a particular area and/or the use of specific techniques. Referring providers should feel free to discuss the treatment plan with the therapist at any time.
Status updates are forwarded regularly to insure all parties remain informed regarding each patient's progress.
